Through the crisis in Libya we gained extensive hands-on experience in coordinating the transfer of patients who require specialised medical treatment at facilities abroad.
To ensure a smooth and safe transfer, our medical team meticulously follows a thorough medical history and condition assessment and evaluation process before recommending third party hospitals that are best suited to caring for the patient and providing the necessary treatment for the condition or injury sustained.
The healthcare facilities within our International network are covered by medical malpractice insurance. We also ensure that they respect our patients’ culture and religious beliefs.
Overseas Health Service’s logistics team is on call 24/7 to assist with all arrangements required by patients who need to be transferred, initiating the process and following it through until the patient arrives at the pre-established medical destination.
