Prior to joining Overseas Healthcare Ltd in 2007, Victor acquired extensive experience working within the Maltese hospitality industry as part of the senior team responsible for Hotel food and beverage divisions. His responsibilities included the coordination of all logistics related to the planning and organisation of banqueting functions and events. This also required the handling of related orders, costings and billings. He was also responsible for stock control whilst at the same time providing the necessary support for the efficient running of the hotel restaurants and room service.
In 2007, Victor took up the post of logistics officer with Overseas Healthcare Ltd. His responsibilities covered the tasks involved in coordinating all external logistics required to run the overseas operations of the company – from handling of visas for visiting OHL personnel and medical specialists, to purchasing of consumables and shipping of same to the overseas clinics.
Victor has since been promoted to head the logistics office of the company and the support services that his team provide have been expanded to include the coordination of doctors’ overseas clinics and travel schedules, accommodation and transportation together with any other logistical arrangements required to ensure that the people travelling to our overseas facilities are well taken care for.
Victor and his team, to this day still maintain their role of handling all OHL logistics. In addition to the above they also coordinate all patient transfers from Libya to Malta or to third party hospitals overseas. The logistics office is also responsible for billing, providing translation services and attending to the various patient support requirements.
