Dr Rodingher graduated as a doctor of medicine in 1991 from the Carol Davila University of Medicine and Pharmacy in Bucharest Romania.
He practiced for a few months within a Military Unit Clinic of the Defence Ministry where he oversaw inventory management and provided emergency care and medical consultations to military personnel.
Following this experience, he worked as an Intern Physician, Medical Officer and Medical Advisor within a teaching Hospital, private ambulatory clinic, and multiple non-profit organisations in Bucharest, Romania. His roles involved fulltime provision of Emergency Room, Inpatient, and Outpatient health services, assisting orthopaedic surgeries, managing international medical donations and services for needy patients and establishing and maintaining NGOs’ relations with hospitals, clinics and pharmacies.
Between November 1998 and December 2009, Dr Rodingher worked as a full time expatriate Physician within the Centre Medical International in Conakry, Republic of Guinea, a US-based international hospital. During this time he gained top management level experience as a member of the Medical Executive Committee, Director of ER and Trauma Department, Deputy Chief of Staff, Chairman of the Infection Control Committee, Chief of Staff and Acting CEO.
Dr Valentin also benefitted from formative exposure to the healthcare systems in Gambia, Senegal, Ivory Coast, Sierra Leone, Morocco, France, USA, India, and Malta enriching his medical and cultural knowledge base by working within diverse cultures with colleagues and patients of different ethnicities.
In April 2008, he was employed as Company Physician with Air France operating in the Republic of Guinea and following that, he worked in Texas, USA as member of the Board of Advisors of the American International University West Africa in Houston.
In 2011, Dr Rodingher joined Overseas Healthcare Ltd fulfilling the role of Senior Medical Resident Officer, Head of Immediate Medical Care and Ambulance Unit, Member of the Hospital Medical Advisory Committee and Member of the Hospital Standards Committee within Saint James Hospital, Tripoli, Libya.
Since December 2014, he has taken up the role of Medical Director within Overseas Healthcare Ltd responsible for ensuring the best execution and delivery of care throughout the organisation.
